Mrs. Gooden at the blessed age of 101 has decided to move and give up housekeeping. Mrs. Gooden was an avid seamstress and had a passion for knitting and crocheting. This auction includes a large collection of quilting accessories, sewing accessories, sewing machines, antiques, collectables, housewares, tools and many more items. Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. VA Sales tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items (except titled motor vehicles) unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form prior to checkout. Payment: Cash, Wire Transfer, Credit/Debit Card (3% Surcharge Applies) or Good Check are approved methods of payment. Payment must be made in full before items are removed from the auction site. If payment has not been made by the end of the pickup period, credit cards will be charged for the full invoice amount. Titles will be held until checks clear. Auction Closing & Pickup: Auction closes Thursday, November 19th, starting at 7pm. Pickup is Friday, November 20th from 9am to 5pm & Saturday, November 21st from 9am to 3pm. Please do not bid if you cannot pick up your items on those days unless prior arrangements have been made with auction company. All items must be picked up and removed from the auction site by 5:00pm on November 23rd. No one will be available for pickup on Sunday, November 22nd. Auction will close at the rate of 4 lots every 120 seconds with a 120 second auto extend. That means if a bid is placed within the last minute for any lot, the time for that lot will be extended for 120 seconds. Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. Titles are guaranteed for all titled vehicles unless the description states "no title". If paying by check, titles may be held until check clears. Condition details are offered as courtesy to bidders, and are opinions only, not statements of fact, and do not imply any warranty concerning condition, or any assumption of liability. Lot announcements, listings, photographs, and catalog information are for descriptive purposes only. Bidding: The highest bidder for each item shall be the buyer, and if any dispute arises as to any bidding, or between two or more bidders, the auctioneer will have sole discretion to determine the successful bidder, or the disputed Lot shall be offered again at the last undisputed bid and resold. If there is a reserve price set by the Seller on an item, the reserve price must be met for the item to sell. The auction record kept by the Auctioneer and Clerk is final.
