Marlin Model 1936 "JM" Stamped Chambered In .32 Winchester Special.  This rifle bears the sought after "JM" stamp on the barrel, meaning it was manufactured during the era when Marlin firearms by the original Marlin Firearms company in North Haven, Connecticut. Since its introduction in 1948. The Marlin model 1936 is an important early Marlin lever action, and a predecessor to the later model 36 and 336 series. Introduced in the mid - 1930's the production run was relatively brief, making surviving model 1936 rifles an interesting piece of Marlin collecting history!
