Marlin Model 375 "JM" Stamped Chambered In 375 Winchester. Introduced around 1980, the model 375 was based on Marlin's lever action design and was produced specifically for the then-new 375 Winchester cartridge. This is an interesting and comparatively uncommon member of Marlin's classic lever action family. The "JM" stamp on the barrel identifies this firearm as being produced before the manufacturing transitioned away from Marlin's historic North Haven Connecticut operations. Its relatively short production history makes the Model 375 useful for documenting the period when American manufacturers introduced new, higher performance cartridges into traditional lever action platforms.
