Remington Model 1889 Side-By-Side 12 Gauge Shotgun. The Model 1889 is a classic exposed double hammer shotgun from the late 19th century era of American firearms. With its twin barrels, external hammers, break down action, and period wood and steel construction, this shotgun represents an interesting example of Remington's early American sporting shotgun production. Manufactured during an era when exposed hammer double barrels were an important sporting firearm, surviving model 1889s are of great interest to collectors today!
