Marlin Model 44 SS Chambered In .444 Marlin. The Model 444SS is a desirable big-bore sporting rifle combining Marlin's traditional lever action designs with the powerful cartridge developed specifically for the Model 444. Introduced in the 1960's, the rifle was developed around the then-new .444 Marlin cartridge, giving sportsmen a substantial big-bore cartridge in a repeating lever-action platform. This model represents an appealing opportunity for Marlin collectors, lever-action enthusiasts, or big-bore sporting rifle collectors!
